The music

A setting of Folliott Pierpoint’s much-loved hymn of thanksgiving for the beauty of creation. The text moves from the beauty of the earth and heavens to the gifts of nature, the passing of each hour and the life of the Church, culminating in an offering of praise. This setting for S(S)ATB voices a cappella provides a concise and accessible expression of gratitude, making it particularly suitable for Harvest, Creationtide and services of thanksgiving.
