The music
A joyful and accessible celebration of the Holy Trinity, built around the simple refrain “Three is the sacred number”. The music moves between gentle, reflective passages and increasingly energetic declarations of faith, culminating in the repeated “One, two, Three” and a final proclamation of the Holy Trinity. Scored for three-part voices, the piece has an engaging simplicity which makes its theological message particularly direct.
